Autumn Leaves
Autumn leaves are not particularly falling in our area yet…but we make due with what we got. Here are a few things my friends and I have been doing.
Jack O' Lanterns. It's harder than I expected. Be careful of the knives that go into this process. Also, rub vaseline on it or WAIT until it's colder outside. My rotted in two days. I was confused as to if it was "the" infamous black mold that people say is deadly...or if it was just your typical mold... but it was BLACK.
Played some scrabble while D had a concussion. It was nice to play a board game with some of my favorite childhood cookies. Do you remember when these Pillsbury cookies were in a tube??? and we used to have to cut them ourselves??? It used to be so fun when my mom showed me the design on the log before cutting the whole thing. Now it's cut for you. Borrrringgg.
Tried this awful wine from Trader Joe's. Just awful. It was so sweet, and not in a good way. Immediately went to return it.
M&M donuts in Anaheim. They are alright. I usually love a Blueberry Cake Donut, but it didn't taste too much like blueberry and it was wayyyy too fried. I couldn't eat more than one. Now, they are getting freezer burn in my freezer because it was $30 for a dozen and I can't just throw them away just yet.
Watched Emily in Paris. I watch it to judge the outfits and it keeps me hooked. Plot is so bad but I can't stop watching. It's like watching a dumpster fire and you are LOCKED in. This outfit was honestly NOT it. I'm sorry, Lily. I caught you at a bad time.
Been playing chess. I suck. I always want to play initially, and then once it starts, I keep thinking to myself, "Am I a sadist? Why do I keep agreeing to this feeling of impending doom?"
I guess it makes me think. I always lose though.
Been wanting to smell this. The ad makes it look so fresh. Now that's marketing. I also love this new bottle.

Tried Crumbl cookie with C. It was -in my opinion- not good. I wouldn't go back for more. I think I tend to like more crispy, thinner cookies. These were massive and so cake-y. But we got the photo. We got the vibes. So I guess that's all that matters.
I've been loving this bed desk. It's so comfy and I can go to sleep immediately. It's the perfect stand up desk too. I have noticed that I am more productive when I work standing up. This cup set was given to me by my friend, Sara (who does not read this blog, also there are many Sara's in this world). The cup is wider than most, and it's so cute when used for iced coffee. These strawberries from Aldi's were so delicious. The best strawberries I've had in a while, and for only $2.50. Highly recommend berries at Aldi's
